IDEA UPDATE

Last Saturday there was a soft play session run by a local autism charity.  I attempted to get permission from parents online via social media to film them and their children at the session to use within my presentation.  I explained the aims of the presentation and that it was part of an MA but I received no responses, bar one woman who told me not to film her family.  I attended the session with my son, film camera in tow in the hope that I would be able to secure some footage and be able to talk parents round once I was there.

Sadly I was unable to do this.  This upsets me as it means that I will have to find another way to get the input of families who have members with autism.  I did attempt to film my own son using this equipment but the footage was too dark to be of any use.
